The letters on paper — here's what you get
For those who'd like something to hold. All 24 letters, envelopes, arrival certificate, reply sheet and diploma as A4 PDFs — with your child's name. Plus the tomte's own sheets: snowflakes, stamps, song slips or the day's map. Your evening plan is in a separate file, so your child never sees it in the letter. Print at home and put the letter by the door.

- All 24 letters in one book
- As an email and a PDF you can save and print

Questions
Do we need a tomte door?
No. The tomte door is in the app — animated. A real one is a lovely bonus.
Which tomte suits my child?
Every tomte works for ages 3 to 10. The age shown on each door tells you where that tomte fits best.
Does it work with more than one child?
Yes, up to 4. The letters are written to all of them.
What if we order after 1 December?
The tomte still comes — and explains for himself why he's late. From 4 December it costs 149 kr.
Can my child find tomorrow's letter?
No. Everything for grown-ups is locked with your own code.
How do we get help?
Write to us via “Help · write to us” at the bottom of the page or in the grown-ups' area. We reply in writing within 1 working day, and you'll get an email when the answer is ready.
Who reads the letters aloud?
The letters are read aloud by ordinary speech synthesis — not a recorded actor. If you'd rather use your own voice, you can record each letter in the grown-ups' area. You can also edit the letters there before your child sees them.
Do we need to print anything?
No. Everything works on screen, even the diploma on Christmas Eve. The print pack is an optional extra if you'd like the letters on paper.
What happens next Christmas?
If you like, we'll keep the tomte and your child's first name for next year — free, and only if you say yes. You get a discount next Christmas by inviting friends: 1 family gives 7%, 2–5 give 10%, 6–9 give 15% and 10 or more give 20%.
Can we build our very own tomte?
Not this year. For Christmas 2027 you can build your own tomte: its look, its name and an adventure that suits your child — with the print pack included. Join the waiting list and you'll hear from us first.
Can my child reply to the tomte?
Yes. Under the letter your child can draw or write a little reply — a grown-up is welcome to help. The story doesn't change — the tomte's letters are written in advance. But every reply is saved, and on 24 December you get them all in the Christmas book by email. The print pack also includes a paper reply sheet.
Can we look back at earlier days?
Yes. In the calendar your child can open every earlier door again, read the letter and see their reply. If they forgot to reply one day, they can do it afterwards.
What is Play & learn?
After each day's letter there's a little Christmas history with a question, a calm game and a sheet to cut out or colour in. The games are inspired by Montessori: sorting, ordering from small to big, tracing shapes, counting — with no points and no time pressure, and your child can see for themselves when something fits. The level follows your child's age.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. Choose «Buy as a gift» and you'll get a beautiful gift certificate with a code.
